Il progetto risponde alla necessità dei nuovi proprietari di ampliare la zona giorno e migliorare i servizi, in quanto lo stato di fatto presentava un dimensionamento troppo sbilanciato degli spazi. La modifica principale è sicuramente la creazione dell’open-space, diviso tra sala e cucina da una “quinta”, obbligata dalle canne fumarie. La zona notte, invece, viene divisa dal resto della casa e ottimizzata con l’allargamento del secondo bagno, che va ad eliminare lo studio.
The project responds to the owners needs in order to expand the living and improve the services, the current situation presents unbalanced dimension of the spaces which needs to be resolved. The main change is certainly the creation of the open-space, divides between the living room and the kitchen by a “wing”, forced by the flue pipes. The sleeping area, however, is divided from the rest of the house and optimized with the enlargement of the second bathroom, which eliminates the studio.
